Good Day Sacramento stopped by to chat with Mary Naggiar about being open and the new safety measures being implemented “We are very excited and love seeing our customers. They are the best part!” said Mary, who in addition to being one of the owners, also manages the Tasting Room, Social Media and Marketing.
Naggiar Vineyards is abiding by the new regulations to keep everyone safe. In addition to increased sanitizing and spaced out patio seating, they require reservations for the weekend. This is to ensure social distancing guidelines are maintained throughout the day. Patrons can sip on one of the numerous varietals or blends on sale on the spacious patio, all while taking in the beauty of the perfectly manicured estate vineyard. “Everybody gets the view!” added Mary.
If you are not ready to venture out yet or would like to have the wine delivered to your front door, Naggiar offers free local wine delivery on orders of 4 bottles or more.
On Thursdays, they deliver to the Roseville/Rocklin/Lincoln, Granite Bay, Folsom and Sacramento areas. On Fridays, they are in Auburn/Grass Valley/Nevada City and Penn Valley. You can call 530-268-9059 to order, or you can do it online.
The cutoff for Thursday delivery is Wednesday by 4:00 pm. The cutoff for Friday delivery is Thursday by 4:00 pm. Someone 21 or older must be present to receive the wine.
CURBSIDE PICK UP
If you just want to grab some wine and go, curbside pick-up is available all week long during operating hours. You can order online and select pick up at winery. Wine club members must login to get their discount. You can also order by calling 530-268-9059.
