Blending Workshops With Derek Irwin
Last year’s Blending Workshops with our Winemaker Derek Irwin were a huge, sold-out success.
Derek will be offering two workshops again this year in which he will discuss the wines used for blending and share how the properties of varietals change and add to
blended wines. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn and try blending for yourself!
The cost is $30 per guest and the workshops will be held on Saturday, March 9th and Saturday, April 6th from 1:00 to 3:00 in our Private Tasting Room. A light appetizer will top off the event.
We must emphasize that space is limited (maximum 20 guests per workshop) and reservations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Call 530-268-9059 to reserve your spot.
Il Fornaio is proud to be working with Naggiar Winery for Wine Dinner in April, which includes a four course dinner paired with their wines. Mary and Mike Naggiar from the winery will be on hand to talk to you about the wines you will be tasting and our own Chef Bruno Amato will be telling you about all four courses that he prepared. Join us for this festive occasion and have a great meal paired with some excellent wine.
